So what size do you need?
This is, initially, one of the most difficult but important questions to answer. For a start, the size is going to have a huge influence on the cost of an event. So we must establish the correct size otherwise you may, for instance, be quoted for what appears a very reasonably priced structure but it's far too small for your needs.
On the other hand we could misunderstand the brief and give you a price for a marquee that's far too big and therefore seems to be extraordinarily expensive.
So what to do if you are new to all this? Simple! Either give us as much information as possible on the contacts form or give us the basics and your contact information so that we can get in touch and ask the relevant questions.
How Do I Book a Marquee?
Simple Steps to Secure Your Marquee Rental
Booking a marquee with County Marquees is straightforward. Simply contact our team via phone or email us or ,most usefully, fill out our "contact us" form .
As discussed on the left, please provide details regarding your event date, location, and the estimated number of guests.
What is the event for? Eg wedding, party, corporate event, funeral etc.
Do you want guests formally seated.
Is space required for other things such as a bar area, satge for a band, drinks reception etc.
If this all seems too scary or involved, don't worry. Simply contact us and we'll guide you through the selection of the appropriate marquee and any additional services you may require.
What Additional Services Do You Offer?
Can a marquee be erected on hard surfaces or uneven ground?
In addition to marquee hire, we provide a suite of services to enhance your event. This includes flooring, lighting, furniture, and decoration options to give your marquee the perfect atmosphere.
We have steel subframe flooring that allows us to assemble tents on solid surfaces such as driveways or car parks. It also allows for a level floor on sloping sites. This type of floor is a good option for winter based marquees, or for long term hire.

Our rates vary based on size and services required, and duration of hire, we’re happy to provide free tailored quotes upon request.
Please note that the price for a marquee is for the weekend and not per day.
Marquees for weddings and corporate events tend to be erected several days ahead as the tents need to be ready for other suppliers such as florists, sound engineers, lighting, sound etc. This does not result in extra costs for the client.

I Have a Sloping Site / Uneven
Ground - Can I Still Have A Marquee?
Yes you probably can.
One of the advantages of our modern frame marquees is that we can provide solid floors with very heavy duty galvanised steel frames.
This type of flooring allows us to over-come bumpy ground, sloping gardens and even steps up to a point.
We are happy to view your site in person to investigate if this would be a suitable option for your event.
Confirming Your Booking
Once you are happy with the quotation, we will proceed to confirm your booking. This involves signing a hire agreement and paying a deposit to secure your marquee.
We will also discuss the logistics involved, such as access to the site, time restrictions and any additional services you may require, such as lighting, flooring, or furniture.
Site Visit and Planning
To ensure everything is perfect on the day of your event, we offer a free site visit.
Matt will assess the location where the marquee will be erected and discuss any potential challenges or requirements with you.
This planning stage is crucial for ensuring a smooth setup and includes considerations about layout, power sources, timing and accesss to the venue.
Marquee Setup and Event Day
On the agreed day for your marquee to be rigged, Matt and his professional team will arrive early to set up your marquee.
The set up is not contracted out to third party labourers, or event staff. The advantage of using a family owned company is that Matt will be with you on site to ensure the process is smooth and perfect.
He will ensure everything is in place and functioning correctly to meet your expectations.
After your event, all you have to do is remove your own items, any rubbish, and we will promptly dismantle the marquee and clear the site, leaving it in good condition.
