How much does a marquee cost to hire?
Unless you are literally wanting a "barebones" marquee on grass - with nothing in it - cost vary enormously from job to job because each hire is bespoke. As a general rule, prices range from £350 for a basic party marquee to £2900+ vat for a wedding of 100 people including tables, chairs, linings etc.
Larger functions and corporate hire involving solid floors, specialist items etc. can require a considerably greater investment.

Our aim is not to take as many marquee orders as possible each week and then find that we can't complete on time. Instead , we stop taking orders when we know we have reached capacity allowing us to take great care of our customers. We can offer free site visits, if required, and encourage them for larger marquees and potentially awkward sites.
For those unsure about chair styles, size of table etc. we can occasionally accept visits to our unit during less busy times by arrangement. Our unit is not manned all day as we are often all out erecting marquees or delivering equipment. Hence the need for a prior arranged appointment.
We would actually encourage anyone serious about hiring to ask to see the equipment in person at any of the companies you may be asking to quote (even if you have no real intention or need to view the equipment). Any company that refuses could be a problem for you - eg. not a bona fide company or possibly the equipment is poorly stored away and not cleaned/looked after. Sadly, websites are not proof of the standard of company that you may be engaging for your work.

How Much Is A Wedding Marquee To Hire?
The short answer is anything from £340 to well over £10,000. With the average cost for a wedding marquee from County Marquees being £1200 - £2,900 + vat.
There is a huge variance in the requirements from different customers for a wedding marquee so it's impossible to give an immediate answer to that question.
For instance, one customer may just want a tent to cover a very intimate gathering of a few close family and friends, and the budget may just need to be a few £100's. On the other hand the wedding could be for 150 guests, all seated, with a stage for a band, dance floor, catering tent, toilet hire, generators etc, in which case the cost will be in the £1000's.
So a big variance because every job is literally unique!

How much is a marquee for 50 people?
Again, not easy to answer for the same reasons as above about the wedding tents. Contact us for your personalised estimate.
How much is a marquee for 100 people?
See above for the previous explanations, but as with the wedding section, costs could be from £700 to several £1000's depending on the final spec. We'd love to give you an accurate estimate though, so please contact us and provide as much information as you possibly can.
Can I have a marquee in the winter?
Absolutely yes!
Either as a stand alone marquee or as a structure extending off a building, we have successfully installed 100's of winter marquees over the past 30+ years. We can provide a standard marquee or structures with thermostatically controlled heaters, solid floors, real glass french doors, and even doubled lined roofs if required.
Can I have a marquee on concrete or tamac? And what about a marquee on uneven ground?
Yes you can. Subject to a satisfactory free site survey, we are able to erect our marquees on solid surfaces such as car parks and playgrounds. By the use of a steel sub-frame floor we can also overcome some sloping sights and, up to a point, different levels such as terraces and steps. Please contact us for more details.
